La Habra, Orange County
La Habra sits in the northwest corner of Orange County, against the Los Angeles County line, with the Puente Hills to the north and the Coyote Hills to the south. Oil was found in the Coyote Hills in the early 1900s, and wells pumped there until the 1990s, when a golf course and homes replaced them. Whittier Boulevard and Imperial Highway carry most of the traffic through town.
